God will make clear…

And we know that God causes ALL THINGS to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28)

In order to KNOW Him we have to also know that everything He is and everything He does is Good! The “Good” defined “after the Spirit.” This is not our perception of Good, the cultural definition of the word which is based on the fluctuating ups and downs, and continuously changing circumstances of life!

This is God’s “Good!”

We limit God by our own “earthly” perceptions of so many things, even these simple words we use so often. These words interpreted “after the flesh!”

When we stand back and view our questions of good and evil, light and dark, plenty and lack, we first need to settle the fact that every “Good” and perfect gift comes to us by way of a loving Father! And although things may not appear to be Good at first glance, we can be assured that He would never give us snake when we ask for a piece of fish! (Luke 11:11)

All of us, then, who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too GOD WILL MAKE CLEAR to you. Only let us live up to what we have already attained. (Philippians 3:15-16)

I share only what has been revealed to me, and according to the above passage, it is not for me to know, or even try in my own strength to do anything, except what He makes clear…to ME!

Without the darkness, there would be no need for LIGHT! Without the negative, there would be no positive!

It is the same thing in our relationship with God. Positive and negative naturally attract each other, whereas a positive and a positive repel each other. He will always be the absolute positive in our relationship with Him. We will always be His absolute negative!

The result of this cooperative positive/negative relationship is the release of… His POWER!

How else do we exercise faith or grow IN Grace, except He places us in situations that go beyond us, situations where faith is needed? How could we ever know the FREEDOM of True Grace without first being exposed to the condemnation of the law? Why would Paul encourage us to boast in the things which pertain to our weakness, without also giving us the expectation of the POWER which was to be manifested IN us? (II Corinthians 12:9)

The only alternative to our union relationship with Christ is to continue believing we live independent of God.

“There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands; there is no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless….there is no one who does good, not even one.” (Romans 3:10-12)

Each of them has turned to…HIS OWN WAY! (Isaiah 53:6)

This positive/positive (one real and the other false) relationship is naturally designed to repel each other!

Draw near to God (the absolute positive) and He will draw near to you (the absolute negative)! {James 4:8}

If He be lifted up(as the absolute positive) He will draw all (absolute negative) men to Himself!

So when someone recently asked me, “Are the devil’s schemes then “the schemes of God?” I simply said, “ALL THINGS“ positive and negative, light and dark, good and evil, are just forms and expressions of Christ!”

These “earthly things that seem to make no sense to us are spiritual! They can only be properly discerned by the Spirit.

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto Him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. (I Corinthians 2:14)

So when we see ourselves separated from God, we have no choice but to see ourselves also as being cut off from the Spirit, the living and active life source! The One who lives IN us, willing and doing of His good pleasure.

ALL things are happening according to His perfect plan! This includes the things we understand, as well as those things that leave us scratching our heads.

But the bottom line is this: He is God, and we know that ALL THINGS were created by Him and for Him. And apart from Him, the One who will make clear these things we don’t yet understand, the only thing that exists is…well, NOTHING!
